First off, I would like to remind everyone here that an inverted cross is a deeply Christian symbol - it originates from Saint Peter, who asked that his cross be turned upside-down because he didn't deserve to die the same way as Jesus. It's an extremely tacky and illogical choice for a demonic character; you can't make an effective and impactful image if you put Heavenly symbols on Hell figures. This is an issue even though the character isn't yours; they're still in the image, and their poor symbology is still making it difficult to understand. A character with a symbol of heaven on their butt is apparently torturing another character in Hell. It would make more sense to use an actual symbol of Hell. :/

Now that that's out of the way (because I doubt anyone really cares about symbology) originality is the next issue to discuss. There's something at least somewhat evocative about the idea of a character with hidden evils being punished through them, but it's implemented extremely poorly. The villainous character's reverant cutie-mark notwithstanding, his design is very unoriginal; black ponies with red hair abound amongst evil characters, and his use of a Stock Evil Cutie Mark doesn't help. The only thing I find particularly original about this whole image is actually the choice of punishment; swarms of insects don't appear nearly enough in works involving punishment. :3 It's a good choice; the character's horror and distress at what's happening to her is also extremely apparent, and it's the only reason this image didn't get half a star for impact - it's really pretty powerful, even considering the issues in the image, to see a character in such obvious and well-rendered distress.

Unfortunately, the positive choices stop there. The pose you've chosen doesn't make any sense; horse's legs on't bend like that (and their entire rears certainly don't, either). If they did, then she'd fall down from lack of balance. She's a bit thin, though not egregiously so. Pinkamena's eye is far too large; it should be shrunken (MLP eyes are large, but not quite so gargantuan). And the character's Cutie Mark is incorrect; the blue balloons should be below the yellow one, closer to the hoof than the head in comparison. Her neck is also bent at a little too sharply an angle, and her hair is hanging with a large gap in it; her tail is also bent at a really weird angle, and her knees are as well.

The male horse has fewer problems; his biggest one is that he's far too thin. His chest also protrudes very unevenly; it needs to be smoothed out. He isn't a bird; he doesn't need a keelbone. His expression is a little dead; it could use some more exaggeration. :D

Finally, the background. The fire isn't particularly well-rendered, though its simplicity may be the result of a character-focused image. The cracked ground could do without the grass on it, but it's otherwise fine. The ash thrown into the air is obviously ash and pretty passable.

Other general notes: The shading on Pinkie is smooth, as is the male's, but it's got light source inconsistency (even ignoring the fire - they should really be backlit silhouettes). The hair could use more texturing. Nice job with pencil stroke direction on the characters; it makes them flow better - keep doing that! :3

Tl;dr: Upside-down crosses are Heavenly symbols in their religion. The OC pony's colors are generic. Pinkie's pose makes no sense. Her eye should be smaller, but her expression is decent. Fab choice of punishment is why I gave this originality points. Yay for insects! Pinkie's cutie mark is incorrect; the yellow balloon is canonically above the blue balloons (closer to the neck, in this case). OC pony is too skinny, but has a decent pose. Shading is decent. Light source doesn't exist.

Please forgive me for a harsh review. By opening this up for critiques, you opened yourself up for critics; I tried to be very constructive. My hope is simply that I can provide advice that'll help you improve your art.
